Tomorrow

Tomorrow I will shave and shower.
Tomorrow I will sort the mail and pay the bills.
Tomorrow I will survey the fridge and lament its contents.
Tomorrow I will curse the neighbor’s dog while praising mine.
Tomorrow I will savor the twilight between sleep and consciousness.
Tomorrow I will hold Max tight to my chest while Maggie licks my feet.
Tomorrow I will notice how the leaves changed and how little the grass grew.
Tomorrow I will have coffee with Allison and look forward to washing the cups.
Tomorrow I will see the same dust bunny in the corner and pass by it yet again.

Tomorrow I will do these things because Tonight I am home.

Tomorrow is a new chapter in the State of the Heart. It's the day we have all been wait to hear about. Thank God! That is why the sun is shinning over Connecticut. Be safe and keep strong. You made my day with your great news.

I am so happy to hear that you guys are home. Allison, that picture of you and Max is absolutely amazing - I love it. Joe, what you wrote last night, makes me realize how we all take for granted all the really important things in life, just sitting in your home with your family and enjoying the moment. That is all that really matters.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

Take Care,
The Horowitz Family

We've all let out a deep breath that we've held for weeks...

Sleep well, eat well, laugh until it hurts a little.

We missed you, glad you are home.

I was going to let this slide if things went "wrong", but I am happy to say that when you get home you can pay me the $20 you owe me. I'll come by to collect, and if you don't have it I'll put you right back in the Clinic.

Yippiee!

Let us know if you get board and you want some visitors from the office to come and make you laugh.

Hope you have a good trip home.

Joe, last night I learned that you have been faking a serious illness for several weeks. This, of course, comes as no great surprise, considering your duplicitous and untrustworthy nature. But now you've gone over the line...

To take up valuable space on the Internets (I've heard tell there are now several running, often at once) simply to feed your need for attention is, well, sick. When I'm unable to get an important e-mail, I guess I'll know who to blame.

I'm glad you're "home," and all. And pleased with yourself for pulling off what I'm sure you and your demented friends think is the prank of the century.

Maybe we can get together when you're feeling better--which, I've also come to learn is code within your twisted little circle for "finished on the back nine."

Congrats! You did it!

Tomorrow, we are all happy you are well and home.

Wow, Joe. I never took you to be such a procrastinator. "Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow." I think I need to reevaluate this whole friendship with you.

Ok, I was going to say WooooHoooooooo!!!(because that is what I just yelled outloud), but that is taken, so I'll just say this:

I think reading this blog is very habit forming.
I just may wonder how you are doing Every Day for the Rest of My Life. So if you stop posting, I may have to call everyday. Which could become annoying.
So, for now I'll just send my love and hugs.
:)

Tomorrow is now today, and that's the best news of all.

Welcome home Salvati's. Thanks for keeping us all so informed and, often, entertained.

I feel home,
when I see the faces I remember my own
I feel home,
when I'm chillin outside with the people I know.
I feel home,
and that's just what I feel.
Home is reality,
and all I need something real.

Welcome HOME Joe!!!

Much Love,
